Film Audience Research

This can be found on the BMFI website in their 2012 statistical yearbook. It analyses how many people from different age groups attend the cinema to watch a film. Our trailer will be previewed at cinemas in order to widen audiences and let the film be known of. Without this advertisement from our trailer, the film will not have an audience.
This photo shows that 15-24 year olds are most likely to go to the cinema. Therefore our trailer and film should be targeting the younger generation. Evidently if 15-24 year olds attend the cinema more often, they are most likely to be the viewers of the trailers. Therefore it would be more beneficial for us to target the teenage generation in order to guarantee ourselves an audience.
