Evaluation of Mood-Board 1

When looking at the different looks of horror movies it is obvious the are all intended to scare an audience. This is obvious because of the use of their dark colours. dark signifying the unknown and mystery which may scare and freak out audience members. A lot of red is used within the films to represent blood suggesting possible death, murders and gruesome injuries.
Characters that are used every day people to affect the audience more because they can imagine themselves in the characters shoes. They also include other characters that may not be real. for example a monster, clown or scary toy.

In my opinion I think it would be very hard for Marcia and I to recreate a horror movie trailer. This is because the intention is so strong. It must make the audience feel scared and create tension. The colours, costumes and shoots must be done to an extent that it will make the audience know the film will be scary and gruesome. It would be hard to make the trailer look realistic with people in danger and  getting killed etc.
